While packing for what I thought was my last trip to the recording studio, I glanced at the piano and noticed three scrapÊgrocery list papers on whichÊI had jotted lyrics over a period of several years.ÊThe words were very personal. They expressed how much I want Jesus to come and how heartbreaking it is to me to listen to the news and hear people say they want God out of everything. When I arrived at the studio, my producers Tim Greene and George Sandler said there was room for another song in the two album set we were working on. Surprise, surprise . . and I remembered those slips of paper, dug into my case and asked God for music. God is so full of wonderful surprises.ÊI 'm so glad I listened to His still small voice and let Him lead!
