To take such a familiar song and change its melody is intimidating. But to me, this song was a true gift from the Lord. You hear and feel the words. The melody and words are one, blended to bring out the gospel in its purest form. It was my desire for the music to enhance the words in such a way that you experience the story told, in knowing Jesus, you are refreshed, and if you don't know Him, you want to "know the rest of the story".
