Behold the Lamb
Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley - New Market Virginia is the campus of Shenandoah Valley Academy. This beautiful setting is where the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventist held there Annual "Campmeeting" the theme being "Behold the Lamb".
It was my joy to share my music during the 11 o'clock Service. Wednesday I sang "We Know Not the Hour" (Moment by Moment Album). This was my Mother's favorite song from the hymns that I wrote new music for. I believe from the comments I received many other folks favored it also.
Thursday, was "Living By Faith" (one of my favorites). The words are so inspiring and I loved the way Phil Nash slowed this Southern Gospel styled song to a worshipful, thoughtful, and uplifting arrangement. The focus is on the words where it should be. (Test of Time Album)
Friday, "Thank You, Lord". This song was written by Dan Burgess in the 70's and I love it! What a prayerful, praise filled message. (Hymns Made New Album)
I so appreciated Rick Labate, Pastor of Staunton SDA Church and Coordinator for the Campmeeting's Music for having me sing and play the piano for their song services. That was fun. I love to tickle the ivory's any chance I get.
There was special treat on Saturday Morning, a real blessing! The message given by Retired Rear Admiral Barry Black was centered on Christ and how we will be Praising Him in Heaven, yet we need to start Praising HIM here NOW, more Praise, for everything He has done and continues to do. HE deserves it! (my words)
That about wraps it up for that week.
Blessings on all of you who've stopped by to visit and lets keep Praising our Creator as often as we can! Till next time...
